For some odd reason, wrecking my car today on the sawgrass was probably one of the better things that has happend to me lately. I've been on the go, working the Heat playoffs, assignments non stop, and at school whenever i'm not doing either. Not till today I realized how I haven't seen my family much nor Sasha. Now with a sore neck, sore back, sore ass and no car to speak of i'm actually feeling pretty good. Tomorrow is most likely the Heat's last game and i've elected to go and shoot under the sentinel. I've been on a ride with this team this year and if they're going down tomorrow i'm going to be there but if they hang in there i'll be there as well. Either way this team has brought a lot of memories to me this year. Glad I found sometime to write that now, let's go heat!

I'm sorry, but the NBA playoffs start April 22nd and i'm so excited.

Sasha and I will be going to the Phillippines next summer, it's official. Reservations are being made this week. I need to start doing more side things like portraits band pics etc i need money for gear to take on the trip with me. Bye

My internship with Sun-Sentinel is probably the best thing i've ever done. I started my ride alongs last week and they were fun. I finally met Joe today and we went to shoot Juan Urango, a champion IBF boxer. Amazing time didn't feel like going through all the pics but out of what was loaded here was one of the best. Let me know whatcha think yo.

Today was my last day of high school, forever. It's a bitter sweet feeling. Things are starting to pick up as summer rolls in. The summer camp is starting soon, 3 weeks of that and then Sun-Sentinel starts. It's going to be a productive summer I really feel it.
Today I had a meeting at Sun-Sentinel for a teen-link product. I learned that I don't like people that thrive for attention, it's just annoying. I can't wait for the summer, I met a few kids I will be working with and they we're really cool. I just want to start already.
Anyways on the shitty side of things, I need to save $1,000 for equiptment. Fuck.

My old grandma just passed away, 101 years old. God bless her.
My work was published on the front page of the 'Community News' section of todays paper.
I've been sick all freakin week, it sucks.

Today marks the last day of my legal childhood, my last day being 17 years old. On Saturday, March 18th i'll turn 18. I have a lot of mix feelings about turning 18. 17 years old, is without a doubt the best year of my life. Although Sasha and I ran into some problems, we overcame them and spent most of the year as a couple. We were lucky enough to fly to Asia and got to work out everything and create a relationship that's stronger then we've ever been. We also got to celebrate two years of love. Over the last year Sasha was, and still is majority of my life, but I also met some of the best people and have some of the best friends by my side. I have a tight group of kids I like to refer to as my brothers, and over my 17 years of living I never had such a good group of kids in my life. Thank you to them for being there for me no matter what. I couldn't ask myself to do as much as I have done in the last year. Starting from March 18th, 2005 I celebrated my birthday snowboarding in New York. I've created a path to follow for the rest of my life and opened doors I didn't think I was capable of opening. The last couple months i've been working with the Sun-Sentinel, my dream job at 17 years old. I'm taking pictures as a job and I haven't graduated high school yet. In one year of my life i've done what I wanted to do, I got the job, the friends and the girl. I don't think I can set up for adulthood much better then that.
I really don't plan on doing much for my birthday, but a call from everyone would make my day, especially if i've known you for a really long time.

I miss,
the sunrise at Ft. Lauderdale International Airport, showing Sasha the buildings of Manahttan right before we landed, over priced mcdonalds, cathay pacific care packages, ham and cheese and other assorted airplane food, getting pulled over becasue a white family and two SUV's full of boxes and suitcases look way to suspicious, seeing nanay cry casue she's always crying, smelly sheep dog along with ruby and the dog crew, seeing my family, sasha gets to meet the other side of my family the Uy's, my cousins are all gay, one room of air conditioning, whats a tv?, shoemart, cyberzone, "I sware i won't buy a phone this trip", a ghetto swap shop, cheap everything, cheese sticks, seafood, food in general, rat poop in our beds, waking up to 'local' kids singing kareoke and my dad giving the cookies before getting run off by their school teacher, body surfing, ultimate sunburn competition, "only 2 more hours till we're there" when we know damn well you just multiply whatever they say by 6, the market, the best shoot i've ever had to date, "my airmatress is flat", Tita Tek and me reunite, nanay is probably the best person in my life, seeing Tatay even though it was only once.
I can go on forever, but the one thing i miss the most,
getting away from everything so me and her can appreciate eachother more.
Thank god for that trip.

Summer Job ...
Work at the Summer Camp watching kids and get paid $300 a week and only have to drive 5 mins from my house
or
Work for Sun Sentinel as a full time photographer, get paid $240 a week maybe more depending on my progress and have to drive 30 mins from my house
..so?
ps. i live a fucking amazing life.
pps. Next 2 weeks i'll be featured in the paper twice.
March 8th and i'll let you know the other date it's probably this week sometime.
